The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is holding an open house and tours for the Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center in Raleigh on Wednesday.
The center is named after long-time Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler. According to a news release, this is the department of agriculture and consumer services’ largest ever building project. The center contains offices and labs that perform tests for the department’s Food and Drug Protection, Standards, Structural Pest Control and Pesticides, and Veterinary divisions.
This is the first opportunity to tour the facility since move-in was completed last summer. Funding for the building came from the Connect NC Bonds approved in 2016.
