Kinston Mayor implements mask mandate for entry into city facilities

The Mayor of Kinston has implemented a temporary mask mandate for all visitors using city facilities in hopes to slow the current surge of COVID-19 among their staff and the community. Mayor Don Hardy said in a proclamation Tuesday that the mask requirement is effective immediately and will continue until Feb. 1st. The city will continue to make masks available and encourage visitors to wear them.
