Some ENC Counties Begin Vaccinating Elderly Residents

As North Carolina continues its coronavirus vaccine rollout, more local health departments and hospitals will soon begin offering vaccines to people 75 years and older.  State Health Director Mandy Cohen said Wednesday some counties have already started vaccinating elderly residents.  WITN reports that the Onslow County Health Department gave out more than 130 vaccines today.  Carteret Health Care and the Carteret County Health Department said vaccination clinics will be available as early as Thursday by appointment only. Lenoir County will begin vaccinations for elderly residents on Monday.
