Tapping the Keg for Oktoberfest
The Rotary of New Bern Breakfast is hosting a "Tapping of the Keg" at Persimmons on Sept. 27 and invites the public to this Free event. Food & beverages will be available for purchase directly from Persimmons, including a special craft beer brewed especially for this special pre-event. According to tradition, New Bern's Mayor Odham will officially "tap the keg" to officially open the Rotary's Oktoberfest celebration on September 30 at Union Point Park (see separate posting!).
