Reading by Donna Flake- "The Haunting of Lura"

Join us for a reading by former ECU librarian, Donna Flake.

Set in North Carolina, and inspired by actual events, "The Haunted Life of Lura" is a portrait of Lura’s yearnings for love, permanency, and acceptance. Through unimaginable circumstances, brimming with escalating violence, Lura confronts the storms of her life.

Donna Bunting Flake, is a writer and researcher. She is a graduate of ECU and spent much of her career at Laupus library.

The reading will be on the second floor of the Main Campus Library in the Faulkner Gallery.
