Pamlico Musical Society Presents Diego Figueiredo and Ken Peplowski
A Grammy-nominated virtuoso Brazilian Jazz guitarist. An American Jazz master tenor saxophonist. A wonderful duo of souls. It all started in 1962 with hit songs “The Girl from Ipanema”, “Corcovado”, and “Wave” and famous album “Jazz Samba” which hit #1 on The Billboard Pop Chart. Now the world-renowned artists Diego Figueiredo and Ken Peplowski recreate music from this era with their own special style. Their remarkable musical friendship takes center stage at the Old Theater in Oriental on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 7:30 pm, presented by the Pamlico Musical Society.
