Food Donations Forgives Fines and Provides Food Security to Children.
Join the Craven-Pamlico Regional Library in helping provide food for children by donating in our Food for Fines Program.
From April 7 through the 20, the Craven-Pamlico Regional Libraries and the NC Food Bank are working together to give you a chance to clear your library fines and help your community at the same time. The food brought in by our patrons provide food for children over weekends and the summer break.
Bring pantry goods into your local library and you can pay your fines. Craven-Pamlico Regional Library will waive one dollar ($1) in fines for each non-perishable food item donated.
The food must be unexpired and in undamaged condition. We can only accept hard packaging (cardboard, pouches or cans). Glass containers cannot be accepted.
