Floor Cloth Workshop
Floor Cloth Workshop
Area canvas rugs, today known as floor cloth, had their start in 18th-century England. Initially used by the wealthy, the designs and patterns mimicked parquet flooring, tile, and marble. Unique designs are made in a variety of styles and colors, using many techniques. The floor for our class will be painted on a piece of linoleum flooring measuring 24″x36″ Join us in learning the art and fun of these floor clothes!
