Eastern North Carolina is known for great public radio and beautiful natural resources. Your pledge today to PRE can support both. For every pledge of support PRE receives between now and March 21st funds will be donated to the NC Wildlife Resources Commission to produce 100 Striped Bass fry that will be raised to 8-inches and stocked in the Neuse or Tar-Pamlico Rivers later this a year. The Striped Bass is a valuable natural and economic resource to NC coastal rivers. Your pledge to Public Radio East will help replenish this natural resource. More stripers mean healthier fisheries and more opportunities for anglers. Join Public Radio East with your pledge of support and help restore the Striped Bass.
Special thanks to The Oriental Open Water Boat Show, Custom Marine Fabricators, and the CCA of North Carolina for sponsoring the PRE Striped Bass project.
