Member Challenge Fund. Growing Community, Amplifying Support

Be a catalyst for giving! Help our community grow and amplify support for PRE.

WHAT IS THE MEMBER CHALLENGE FUND?
Member Challenge Fund provides financial resources for Matching Challenges during On-Air Fund Drives and Email Campaigns. This fund is critical to strategically advance fundraising goals to sustain PRE's annual operating budget.

Member Challenges / Matching Challenges incentivize new members to join PRE, and current members to increase their donation.

RECOGNITION:
Donors to the Member Challenge Fund are recognized during the Member Challenge (On-Air or Email) and on the Member Challenge Fund Website.

GOAL:
We want to offer a TRIPLE TUESDAY during the Year End Fund Drive (December 2025), in addition to a new member challenge and multiple matching challenges. Typical amounts for each type of challenge are listed below:

  • Matching Challenge – Match donations dollar for dollar, during the On-Air Fund Drive or via an Email Campaign. Typical matching challenges are $1,000 - $5,000.
  • New Member Challenge – encourages listeners to become a new member at any level. New Member Challenges are typically $5,000 - $10,000.
  • Triple Tuesday – (NEW December 2025). Triple Tuesday amplifies the power of member gifts, where every dollar pledged is tripled. Triple Tuesday Challenge are aimed to be in increments of $9,000, $15,000 or $30,000.

Donate the Member Challenge Fund

MEMBER CHALLENGES MAKE AN OUTSIZED IMACT:

SEPTEMBER 2025
$16,500 in Member Challenges turned into more than $51,000 in pledges and 35 new members during PRE’s September 2025 Fund Drive. Hours with a Member Challenge raised 178% more per hour then hours without a Member Challenge!

JUNE 2025
Member Challenges raised 216% more per hour than hours without a Member Challenge. Within nine hours, $8,000 in Member Challenges turned into $20,599.32 in pledges. During the 11 hours without member challenges, we raised $11,662.
