Greenville residents can now listen to PRE News & Ideas on 89.9 FM

Public Radio East’s Greenville translator went on the air with a new frequency on Thursday, September 7th, 2023. The frequency change to 89.9 was necessary after a new full power FM station was licensed to use our old frequency 88.1. The terms of our translator license require us to cede that part of the spectrum to them. We are appreciative to our Greenville listeners for their patience during this process.

In addition to 89.9 FM, PRE News and Ideas is available in Greenville on 89.3 FM. PRE Classical can be heard on 90.3 FM.
