A small plane crashed in Winston-Salem on Saturday, killing two people.

A plane made an emergency landing near Farmville on Monday, shortly after taking off from Flanagan Field Airport.

Emergency responders say the pilot of the ultralight plane had to make an emergency landing during a routine test flight, after experiencing technical issues with the aircraft.

The pilot was not hurt.
