Two new laws impact the shores of eastern North Carolina, one concerning shark fishing and the other the removal of abandoned boats.

June is Alzheimer's Awareness Month, and local Alzheimer's patient advocates are promoting stronger physician training.

President Biden and the First Lady will be in North Carolina on Friday, visiting Rocky Mount and Fort Liberty.
