People in North Carolina who had damage to their homes caused by hurricanes Matthew or Florence are down to just days to apply for a recovery program.

Applications for the ReBuild NC Homeowner Recovery Program have to be in by 5 p.m. on Friday.

The program rebuilds or restores houses for eligible homeowners in counties most impacted by the two storms.

The program has completed 1,103 construction projects to date.
