Fourteen Onslow County residents have died from COVID-19 since last Monday, according to a news release. As of Monday, Onslow County had over 3,000 open cases of COVID-19, which dropped more than 600 from last week, according to the release.
The county’s positive test rate was 15.3%, which was also down slightly from the week before in the county, but was 5% above the state’s rate. The percentage of Onslow residents who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine now matches that of the state’s, according to the release.
