City of Washington Fire-Rescue-EMS is hosting a benefit for one of their own.
Lieutenant Brent Hamilton was recently diagnosed with cancer.
On Saturday at Susiegray McConnel Sports Complex, a softball tournament will raise money to help with his treatment and recovery.
Twelve local First Responder teams will be playing in the double elimination tournament and concessions will be open all day serving barbecue sandwiches, hotdogs, and baked goods.
There will also be raffle prizes drawn between games.
The first pitch will be thrown at 8:45. Admission is free and donations will be accepted.
