Lisa Loeb makes her second visit to Mountain Stage, recorded live in Charleston, W.Va. Since topping the pop charts in 1994 without so much as a record contract, Loeb has proven herself a singer-songwriter with immense staying power.
Her multi-dimensional career includes work in film, television, children's books and more. Loeb followed the success of "Stay (I Missed You)" with 1997's Grammy-nominated Firecracker, which spawned the hit single "I Do." She's starred in a culinary adventure show on the Food Network, appeared onscreen alongside Geoffrey Rush and released two children's albums that feature contributions from Steve Martin and Leland Sklar, among others.
Loeb plays here alongside the Mountain Stage house band, as well as solo, in a set that includes new favorites and her two best-known songs. Her latest album is titled No Fairy Tale.
