Out-Of-State Residents Can Get COVID Vaccine In N.C.

NCDPS

North Carolina's public health department says non-residents can come into the state to get a coronavirus vaccine. Mandy Cohen is the state's top public health official. She says North Carolina residents do not need to get vaccinated in their county of residence. Cohen warns a variant of the coronavirus that circulated in Britain is “likely” already in North Carolina. But the variant has not yet been detected. The North Carolina Nurses Association has sent a letter to Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper warning of severe consequences if he continues to maintain the status quo and not impose additional restrictions.
