New Trump Administration Rule On Soot Particles Contradicts EPA Scientists

The Trump administration declined to tighten regulations on soot emissions this week, despite advice from its own Environmental Protection Agency scientists, who linked the particles to respiratory illness. A Harvard University study also found a link between the particles and adverse health outcomes in COVID-19 patients.
