HBO's 'Hard Knocks' Follows 2 NFL Teams As They Adjust To The Pandemic
HBO released the latest season of its long-running sports documentary series, “Hard Knocks,” this week. The season focuses on how two Los Angeles-based NFL teams — the Rams and the Chargers — have adjusted to the pandemic.
Their players have to be screened regularly for COVID-19, limit their contact with the outside world, and wear masks even while training.
NPR TV critic Eric Deggans joins host Peter O’Dowd to discuss this unique window into a changing sports world.
