Hyde County Schools Receives $1.6 Million For Hurricane Dorian Recovery

Disaster assistance funding from the State of North Carolina and FEMA has been approved to help with Hurricane Dorian recovery. $1.6 million in reimbursement funding was allocated to Hyde County Public Schools for mold remediation at Ocracoke School following flooding. More than $25 million has been approved by FEMA for Hurricane Dorian-related expenses in North Carolina.
