Vidant Health in Greenville is joining other major health systems across North Carolina for a study to better understand the spread of COVID-19. Participants 18 and over, will complete daily, online questionnaires about possible exposures, symptoms and health care visits. The study will also collect information from health care workers on their use of personal protective equipment. According to a news release, these factors will help researchers better understand the pandemic and develop strategies and treatments to contain and possibly eliminate it. Enrollment in the study is open until Dec. 31.
