Greenville launches free transportation service

City of Greenville

Greenville launched a free transportation system for their Uptown District that is set to begin Thursday. The Emerald Express trolley will make 13 stops throughout the center city and will run from 12 noon to 8 p.m. every Thursday through Saturday. The trolley will run on a loop that begins and ends at the G.K. Butterfield Transportation Center. According to a news release, signs have been placed at each stop along the route, and the trolley will arrive approximately every 20 minutes.
