Changes are coming to PRE beginning Monday, May 6th as 91.5 begins broadcasting classical music and NPR news at the coast. 91.5 Atlantic Beach -Beaufort and 90.3 Kinston -Goldsboro will begin broadcasting PRE classical music in addition to Morning Edition 7-9am and All Things Conisdered 4-6pm weekdays. PRE's 24 hour a day classical music service will continue at 88.5 in New Bern and across Eastern North Carolina at 89.3 HD-2.
Jared Brumbaugh is the Assistant General Manager for Public Radio East. An Eastern North Carolina native, Jared began his professional public radio career at Public Radio East while he was a student at Craven Community College earning his degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. During his 15+ years at Public Radio East, he has served as an award-winning journalist, producer, and on-air host. When not at the station, Jared enjoys hiking, traveling, and honing his culinary skills.
