The town of Beaufort has issued a mandatory evacuation order effective Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 1500. A curfew from sunset to sunrise will be put in place effective Thursday, Sept. 5. Town operations cease at 1700 Tuesday.
State Board of Elections has launched a website to give county-by-county information on closings of one-stop early voting sites due to weather conditions.
Cape Lookout National Seashore will close at 1000 Tuesday, Sept. 3. Harkers Island Visitor Center, Beaufort Visitor Information Center, Light Station Visitor Center and the Keepers Quarters Museum closed Monday TFN. Reservations at Great Island and Long Point Cabin Camps cancelled Tuesday thru Friday.
Carteret County has issued a voluntary evacuation order effective Tuesday 0800. A mandatory evacuation order for North River, South River and Down East communities from East Carteret Corner as well as all residents in manufactured housing has been issued effective Wednesday 1200. Bogue Banks is under mandatory evacuation order effective Wednesday 0800
Carteret County has implemented a curfew running Thursday at dusk and continuing through dawn Friday.
Carteret County Solid Waste Convenience sites will be open on Wednesday, September 4 at 0700 rather than open at 1400 as normal. Sites will be closed TFN beginning Wednesday 1800.

Disaster Recovery Information Sessions scheduled Tuesday in Swan Quarter and Wilmington and Thursday in Whiteville and Beaufort have been cancelled
Duplin County Schools will close Wednesday at 1400. They will close Thursday and Friday for students & staff.
East Carolina University will cancel classes beginning at or after 1500 Thursday and all classes Friday. Employees will operate under Condition 1 of the UNC System Adverse Weather and Emergency Event policy.
U-S Forest Service is waiving campground fees on the Nantahala and Pisgah National Forests (as well as throughout the U-S Southern Region) for those evacuating from Hurricane Dorian
City of Greenville will impose a curfew Thursday at 2200. It will stay in place until Friday 0600. GREAT bus services is not currently anticipated Friday. Sanitation collection cancelled Friday... those routes will be collected Thursday, Sept. 5. Recreation and Parks facilities close Thursday at 1700. Bicycle and Pedestrian Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 4 and the Environmental Advisory Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 5 are both cancelled. Freeboot Friday and Friday Art Walk events have been cancelled.

Lenoir County early voting in the 3rd Congressional District election originally scheduled to run through Saturday noon has ended due to weather concerns. Election Day is Tuesday.

North Carolina Coastal Reserve will close the following sites to visitors at dusk Tuesday: Currituck Banks Reserve near Corolla, Kitty Hawk Woods Reserve in Kitty Hawk, Emily and Richardson Preyer Buckridge Reserve near Columbia, Buxton Woods Reserve on Hatteras Island, Rachel Carson Reserve in Beaufort, Permuda Island Reserve near Topsail Island, Masonboro Island Reserve near Wilmington, Zeke’s Island Reserve near Kure Beach, Bald Head Woods Reserve on Bald Head Island, and Bird Island Reserve near Sunset Beach.
North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort is closed to visitors.
Onslow County Schools will be closed for all students Wednesday, September 4 thru Friday, September 6. There will be a teacher workday Wednesday. Schools will be closed to all staff Thursday and Friday.

Pitt County Government has imposed a curfew for unincorporated areas of the county effective Thursday 2200. It will stay in effect until Friday 0600. Offices will be closed Friday.
Pitt-Greenville Airport reports American Airlines suspended flights from the airport Thursday morning. Airline flights will resume Saturday morning. The airport will be manned throughout the storm.

Swansboro Town Hall and Recreation Centers will be closed Thursday and Friday. Current plans are to re-open Monday 0800
