This year's theme is 'A Universe of Stories'. Registration begins Monday, June 17, 2019, in the Youth Services Department at the New Bern-Craven County Public Library. The Young Adult Summer Reading Program is for participants who have completed 6th-12th grade. Each participant will receive a reading record and is encouraged to read 20 minutes a day. Participants may read or listen to books, audio books, magazines, or newspapers in print or digital format. Each participant that turns in a reading record by the deadline Saturday, August 3, 2019, will receive a reading certificate and a free book (while supplies last). Weekly Teen Scene activities will also take place throughout July!
